Transparency Matters to Us
We know how important it is for you to understand how your donation is used – and transparency is just as important to us.
As an international organisation with a decentralised structure, each country office runs its own programmes and maintains independent financial accounting. All partner countries produce their own annual financial statements, which we are happy to share upon request.
LIA Europe is a non-profit, tax-exempt association based in Switzerland and subject to Swiss transparency and accountability standards. Our financial reports are available for download below.
For structural reasons, we do not publish a consolidated annual report across all countries. Instead, we place great value on clear, meaningful reporting – through individual country financial statements and programme-level updates that show exactly how your support makes a tangible difference.
Our Guiding Principles
From the inside out
We don’t bring ready-made solutions. Instead, we strengthen local civil society organisations – often churches – to collaborate for the long-term wellbeing of their region.
Systemic
We support local teams in developing strategies that integrate health, education, and economic development – for sustainable change at the root.
Multiplicative
After completing the programme cycle, our partners train new leaders – using their own resources and reaching beyond their immediate context. This is how a movement grows.
Dignified
We prioritise participation and personal responsibility from day one. After three years, we intentionally step back – leaving ownership where it belongs.
